EdEx are working with an excellent Secondary School in Hackney, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, who are searching for a Humanities Teaching Assistant – Secondary to join their supportive and close-knit team of Humanities teachers and teaching assistants.

This Humanities Teaching Assistant – Secondary opportunity involves providing support to students 1:1 and in small groups, particularly those students with SEND/SEMH needs such as ASD, ADHD, SpLD and more. You will be tasked with assisting class teachers and students with humanities-based subjects, helping out across KS3, KS4 and KS5.

Working in a ‘Good’ Secondary School in the Borough of Hackney
Supporting students throughout KS3, KS4 and KS5 within humanities
Providing 1:1 and small group support to students of different ages and abilitiesHumanities Teaching Assistant – Secondary Person Specification

A humanities graduate with strong academics across the board, including a 2:1 or 1st class degree
Previous school-based experience working with children of all abilities and ages
A passion for learning and making a positive difference from the ‘get-go’

£105 – £110 per day
Monday – Friday only
Term-Time only
Long-Term, Full-Time role
