Parts sales executive
Robertson Recruitment are seeking a dynamic parts sales executive to our client based in Chesterfield. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth through effective communication and relationship building with clients. It would be beneficial if you worked in the automotive industry.

Parts sales executive duties

  • Act as the first point of contact for customers seeking parts for equipment
  • Provide expert advice and product information to customers, helping them identify the parts they need
  • Prepare and process sales orders, quotations, and invoices
  • Monitor and follow up on backorders and ensure customers are kept informed about their order status
  • Provide feedback to the Parts Sales Manager on customer needs, market trends, and potential opportunities.
  • Stay updated with the latest product information, technical specifications, and industry trends.

Parts sales executive skills

  • Proven experience in a sales or customer service role, preferably in the automotive or heavy equipment industry
  • Strong technical aptitude and the ability to quickly learn and understand technical product information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with CRM or ERP systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
