Aspiring STEM Teacher Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for students, with groups of up to five.
- Lead interventions to boost student progress and enhance the school’s Progress 8 score.
- Work with students inside and outside of the classroom to improve their attainment.
- Collaborate closely with class teachers and external professionals to support a wide range of learners, including those with SEND.
- Act as a role model and source of motivation for students in STEM subjects.
Essential Requirements:
- A 1:1 or 2:1 STEM degree from a leading UK university.
- Previous experience working with children is preferred.
- A strong, confident approach to behaviour management.
- Enthusiasm for supporting SEND students and helping them overcome barriers to learning.
- A proactive and empathetic attitude with a passion for STEM education.
