Our niche industry client based in Peterborough is seeking a Junior Design Engineer to join them in this full-time permanent role working Monday to Friday 8.30 – 5pm with an early finish on a Friday at 2.30pm!
This is a great role for a budding Junior Design Engineer to really learn this niche industry, which is at the forefront of technology, giving you the opportunity to develop with the organisation as it progresses through its growth journey.
As a Junior Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing bespoke client drawings and costings, researching, and resolving complex problems, liaising with suppliers, attending project meetings with customers, overseeing build and commissioning from manufacture to build to installation and will follow up support & training. All clients will be UK based.
To be considered for this Junior Design Engineer role you will have recently gained a degree or similar within mechanical engineering and will be looking to join an innovative organisation to cut your teeth in the world of design engineering. You will ideally have knowledge of using CAD/SolidWorks.
Our client is offering a great package including a starting salary of £25k, 33 days holiday including bank holidays rising by 1 day for every full year of service to maximum 39 days including bank holidays, pension, non-contributory healthcare after qualifying period.
