About the Role:
As a DT Technician, you will play a key role in supporting our Design & Technology department, ensuring that students and teachers have everything they need for engaging, hands-on learning.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Preparing materials, tools, and equipment for lessons
✅ Maintaining and servicing machinery, ensuring health & safety standards
✅ Supporting teachers and students during practical sessions
✅ Managing stock levels and ordering supplies
✅ Ensuring a safe and organised workshop environment
What We’re Looking For:
Experience working with DT equipment (woodwork, metalwork, electronics, or CAD/CAM)
Knowledge of health & safety procedures in a workshop setting
A proactive and organised approach to work
The ability to support students with practical tasks
Previous experience in a similar role or relevant technical background is desirable
