Are you an experienced HLTA looking for a rewarding role in a supportive school environment? We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a school in the Callington area.

About the Role:

Position: HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant)
Location: A school in the Callington area
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Full-time
Pay: Competitive, dependent on experience and qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

Delivering planned lessons and supporting pupils across a range of subjects
Assisting with classroom management and student engagement
Providing targeted intervention and small group support
Working collaboratively with teachers to enhance learning experiences
Supporting students with additional needs, ensuring inclusion for all

What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience as an HLTA or a Level 4 Teaching Assistant qualification
Strong communication and classroom management skills
A proactive and positive approach to supporting students
The ability to adapt to different year groups and learning needs
A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
