Job Title: Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Personal Care (Reception 1:1 Support)

Salary: £85 to £100 per day

About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Westminster. Starting in January, you will provide 1:1 support to a Reception child with personal care needs. This role is perfect for an experienced, compassionate individual who is passionate about supporting young children and making a positive impact on their early development and in their education and training journey as a level 3 teaching assistant.
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 personal care support to a Reception student
- Assist with basic hygiene, feeding, and mobility
- Support the child’s learning and engagement with classroom activities
- Work collaboratively with the class teacher and support staff to ensure the child’s needs are met
- Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive environment within the education and training sector.
What We’re Looking For:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Previous experience working with young children, ideally in a school or care setting
- A caring, patient, and empathetic approach to personal care and child development
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Understanding of early years education and child development
- Someone who can reliably commute to Westminster.
