About the role: Are you passionate about nurturing the youngest learners and shaping their futures? We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Nurse to join a vibrant and supportive primary school in Newham, starting in January 2025. This long-term, full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a caring and inclusive Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) environment.

As a Nursery Nurse, you will be a key part of the team, creating a safe and stimulating space for children aged 3–5 to develop their confidence, curiosity, and creativity. Whether you’re helping with phonics, leading engaging activities, or offering one-on-one support, you’ll play an integral role in fostering a love of learning in every child.

Application Requirements:

• Hold a Level 3 Nursery Nurse qualification or equivalent.
• Have experience working within an EYFS setting, either in a nursery or school.
• Be enthusiastic, proactive, and able to build strong relationships with children, staff, and parents.
• Demonstrate a commitment to creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
• Hold a valid Enhanced DBS check or be willing to obtain one.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver creative and engaging activities that support children’s physical, emotional, and social development.
• Assist in planning and implementing the EYFS curriculum.
• Monitor and record children’s progress, sharing insights with the teaching team and parents.
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, maintaining high safeguarding standards.
• Foster a nurturing environment where children feel valued and confident to explore and learn.
