EdNet Warrington is a local independent recruitment company specializing in supporting SEN settings and supplying skilled Teachers, Teaching Assistants and 1.1 Tutors. We offer long term and ad-hoc roles.
We are currently seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to support in the classroom of a of a lovely SEND School in the central Northwich area. This is a full time, long term Teaching Assistant post, to commence asap.
The SEN school aims to provide a challenging and motivating curriculum that meets the diverse learning needs of the students The SEN provision offers a personalised and differentiated curriculum based on the students’ individual needs, abilities and learning styles.
Desirable skills & experience
* You will have experience and understanding of the needs of pupils with ASC and associated SEN conditions.
* You will assist teaching staff in the delivery of learning activities and work programmes
* Undertake predetermined activities with pupils development including self-reliance and self-esteem
* You will have previous experience of working in a similar environment ideally as a Teaching Assistant.
* A willingness to participate in relevant training and development opportunities
* Be a pro-active team member, committed to raising standards and achievements
* Have a passion for education and raising the achievement of all children
* Experience working with children with SEN needs.
