Job Opportunity: Teaching Assistant for Year 3 & 4 Class
Are you passionate about education and love making a difference in the classroom? We are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant, to support Year 3 and Year 4 students in their learning journey.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide dedicated support to pupils during lessons, helping them achieve their best.
Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
Support the development of literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
Work with small groups or individual students, adapting to their specific needs.
Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-organised classroom environment.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must have:
✅ Proven experience supporting children within a classroom setting, preferably at Key Stage 2.
✅ Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with pupils, staff, and parents.
✅ A patient, adaptable, and nurturing approach to education.
✅ A commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Desirable
Relevant qualifications in education or child development (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3).
Knowledge of strategies to support pupils with additional needs or SEN. Start Date: ASAP – Interviewing next week
Location: Northampton
Contract Type: Full Time Monday- Friday Term Time Only
Salary: £90-£100 per day
