Description

The footbridge at Boston train station is being worked on and will be closed for the next 3-4 weeks. Subsequently, passengers will need to take a longer walk (3-4 minutes) to change platforms and we are looking for extra staff to help inform, direct and assist passengers who may be unaware of the bridge closure.These are temporary, part-time roles with a variety of shifts that need to be covered. Ideal for anyone looking for an interesting, face to face customer service role working closely with the public!We have customer service assistant shifts available to help with a variety of duties including answering passengers’ questions, assisting them in getting on and off trains (particularly those with additional needs) and helping to talk to and direct/signpost passengers at the station so that everyone has a great experience!The early start and late finish shifts below will also include accompanying train crew with their equipment to and from the trains and the station office on a couple of the services (doing the 3-4 minute walk with them) as well as general station duties.Do you have face to face customer service assistant experience? Do you enjoy working with the public and assisting them? Would you be happy to help passengers with their queries about train services, directing them at the station and possibly to help them on and off trains and assist with their baggage? Are you a friendly individual with a level head who is able to deliver phenomenal customer service? Then we want to hear from you! Starting: Shifts commence from Monday 16/09/24 and these roles are likely to last 3-4 weeks.Pay Rate: £12.07 per hour – paid weekly.Shifts available are:

  • 07:00 – 19:00 – available Monday to Friday
  • 08:00 – 20:00 – available on Saturdays
  • 06:00 – 10:00 – available Monday to Saturday
  • 19:00 – 23:00 – available Monday to Sunday
