Requirements:

  • MS Excel & Outlook Experience
  • Previous transport or gatehouse experience beneficial but no essential
  • Working 1400-2200 Sunday to Thursday

Responsibilities:

As a Gatehouse Clerk, you will

  • Booking trailers in and out
  • Performing security searches of colleagues on exit of site.
  • Creating and updating Vehicle Load Plans.
  • Basic pick management (informing loading team of outstanding tasks for scheduled trailer departure)
  • Checking all containers are scanned to VLPs/Loads and communicating any discrepancies to loading team/Management.
  • Microsoft office proficiency- email, updating spreadsheets.
  • Communication with Primary Transport regarding trailer requirements.
  • General administration tasks.
  • Any other additional ad-hoc tasks as requested by management.
  • Potential for further training on work release.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Right mindset and eye for detail.
