We’re on the lookout for dedicated Quality Inspectors to be a key player in our fast-paced, high-energy environment, supporting one of the leading automotive OEMs in the industry. With a solid 5-year contract in place, this is your opportunity to make a significant impact on the production of cutting-edge vehicles that set the standard in the market.
Key Responsibilities of the Quality Inspector:
. Visual and dimensional inspections of automotive parts using precision tools and automated systems.
. Monitor and enforce quality standards on the production line, identifying defects and ensuring compliance with specifications.
. Utilise statistical process control (SPC) methods to maintain consistent quality during mass production.
. Document inspection results, maintain accurate records, and report defects or deviations to production teams.
. Work closely with production staff to address quality issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
. Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards throughout the inspection process.
Rotating bi-weekly shifts:
AM: 6am – 4.15pm
PM:4.30pm – 2.30am + weekend work available
The Ideal Candidate will need:
. Experience in a manufacturing or quality inspection role, preferably in the automotive industry.
. Proficiency with inspection tools and familiarity with SPC methods.
. Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full time, permanent
Salary: £11.50 per hour (25%+ for hours after 10pm)
