SEN Teaching Assistant (Special Educational Needs)

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? We are looking for a dedicated and caring SEN Teaching Assistant to join our inclusive school in Newham, supporting students with a range of learning difficulties and disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and group support for students with special educational needs, both in and out of the classroom.
- Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored learning activities.
- Help students with their physical, emotional, and social development.
- Support students in managing their behaviour and overcoming barriers to learning.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with children with special needs (preferred but not essential).
- A patient, compassionate, and flexible approach.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to helping every child reach their full potential.
