Support Worker (Specialist Service)DRIVERSLocation: MerthyrPay/Salary: £12.83 per hour – £13.01 per hour DOE and qualifications, with additional pay for sleep-in shifts (£65.68) and waking nights (time and a third)Shifts: Accommodate part time (16 hours) or full time hours (37.5), but would need to work shifts on a rota basis to include weekends.

The RoleAs a Support Worker, you will be part of a dedicated team providing continuous and consistent support to individuals with complex needs. Your responsibilities will include:Providing physical, practical, and emotional supportPromoting equality and anti-discriminatory practicesAssisting with daily living activities, household tasks, and personal careSupporting individuals to integrate into their local communityImplementing and following Positive Behavioural Support PlansMaintaining effective working relationships with parents, carers, and advocatesWe need staff who can work flexibly, including weekends, bank holidays, waking nights, and sleep-in duties.

What You Will NeedBasic numeracy and literacy skillsCommitment to achieving relevant qualifications (BTEC Positive Behaviour Support, Care qualifications)Desire and ambition to work in the Care SectorFull, clean driving licence.Desirable: Registration with Social Care Wales as a Domiciliary Care Worker
