Caseworker

Salary: £26,460 per annum + Benefits – Successful candidates are subject to our Development Progression Scale, as well as annual salary reviews

Based at HMP Swinfen Hall – Multi-site travel required on occasion

What you will be doing:

  • Enrolling participants via means of liaison with prison OMU and other key stakeholders
  • Improving participants job-readiness and ability to successfully apply for work on release
  • Developing trust-based, positive relationships to provide an appropriate level of ongoing support for a caseload of participants
  • Signposting individuals to relevant activities, partner agencies & Peer Mentors

To be successful you will require:

  • Experience of working with vulnerable/challenging people, for example people who have complex needs etc
  • Strong Communication & Persuasion Skills required
  • Presentation & Planning skills are Essential
