Career Teachers is looking for a warm and caring SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team in the City of Derby. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide loving and tailored support to students with special educational needs and disabilities.
• Assist in the planning and delivery of individualised learning programs.
• Monitor and celebrate student progress, sharing their achievements with teachers and parents.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued.
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff to support student development.
• Participate in school activities and events, spreading joy and positivity.

Requirements:

• Experience working with children with special educational needs and disabilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting student success.
• Relevant qualifications or training in SEND support (preferred but not essential).
