Health Educator Covering Cumbria

Salary starting at £27,500

12 Month Fixed term contract.

The Work and Health Programme are looking for new Health Educator to join their team! Are you someone who thrives on empowering participants to change their lifestyle behaviours and promoting independent management of their general physical, psychological, and social wellbeing? Then we are looking to speak to you.

Youll be scheduling and delivering health and personal support related group activities (such as Exercise and Physical Activity, Healthy Eating, Good Sleep Guide) as well as facilitating group sessions effectively and delivering workshop content as per lesson plan.

This role is based across our Cumbria offices but some travel around the area will be required

What youll be doing as the Health Educator

  • Delivering the workshops that are key to promoting lifestyle changes to our participants
  • Directing participants to access appropriate self-help material related to managing their health and wellbeing;
  • Supporting behavioural change within a group setting using evidence based approaches;

To be job title you will need;

  • Experience of delivering group sessions or workshops, ideally in preventative health, public health or health awareness
