Peer Mentor

Salary: £28,350 per annum + Benefits – Successful candidates are subject to our Development Progression Scale, as well as annual salary reviews

Covering West Midlands Region – Multi-site travel required on occasion

If successful you will be responsible for overseeing the development of Peer Mentors; including overseeing their development & training.

What you will be doing:

  • Recruit, train & supervise new and existing Peer Mentors
  • Support Peer Mentors in the delivery of interventions
  • Working with Peer Mentors to devise new interventions and sessions as required
  • Attending meetings Internal and External to develop new opportunities for the involvement of Peer Mentors Being an integral part of the intervention team; engaging prospective Peer Mentors as they progress through the gate into community

To be successful you will require:

  • Experience of working with vulnerable/challenging people, for example people who have complex needs etc
  • Case Management experience (i.e dealing with multiple people, managing their expectations)
  • The ability to deliver short and tailored interventions to address barriers within a given timeframe
