About the Client

My client a European market leader is looking for a motivated, good all-rounder to join their professional small team as an Office Administrator for a 9-12-month maternity cover.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking for another administration role or looking to get back into a office environment. What is most important is a real ‘can-do attitude’ along with excellent IT skills. On the job training will be offered and the potential to go permanent (but this is not guaranteed).

Salary: £25,000

Hours: 8am – 4.30pm (occasional 8.30am-5.00pm if required)

Location: Office based, Caddington Bedfordshire

Duration: Covering maternity leave (9-12 months)

Free parking

25 days hols plus 8 Bank Holidays

Pension – employee pays in 4% of salary and company pays in 7%

About the Role

As an Office Administrator, you will be responsible for:

  • Check incoming emails for purchase orders, order/technical enquiries and answer or pass onto relevant person.
  • Support sales/purchasing and logistical functions
  • Order processing
  • Telephone answering

About you

  • Well organised and a good communicator
  • Able to work as part of a small team as well as on own initiative
  • Numerate and accurate with attention to details
  • IT literacy is essential
  • Knowledge of MS Dynamics would be an advantage
  • Able to deal with customers and suppliers in a courteous and professional manner
  • Ability at times to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Able to drive / have own transport due to location
