Grafton Banks Finance are delighted to be supporting a growing business with offices near Eastbourne. Our client seeks a temporary Purchase Ledger/Accounts Payable Assistant on an ongoing temporary/contract basis. Reporting into the Finance Manager, this role will be responsible for a range of purchase ledger related duties.
Responsibilities may include:
- Processing supplier invoices and credit notes on a timely basis
- Supplier statement reconciliations and bank reconciliations
- Ad hoc ledger analysis in support for the budgets and forecasts
- Prepaying payment runs
- Ad hoc support across the finance department
Essential skills and qualifications:
- Prior experience working within accounts payable/purchase ledger
- Ability to start on short or immediate notice.
- AAT or relevant accounting/finance related degree (desired, not essential)
- Ability to commute to offices on a daily basis.
