As a Supply TA, you’ll step in to provide crucial support to both teachers and students in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Whether assisting with small groups, delivering one-on-one interventions, or supporting SEN students, your role will be essential in helping children achieve their full potential. You’ll play a vital part in booster sessions and interventions, offering tailored learning to students who need a bit of extra help. The flexibility of this role allows you to work as often or as little as you’d like, with no long-term commitment!

Application Requirements:

• Experience working with children, ideally in a school setting.
• A passion for education and helping students succeed.
• Flexibility and willingness to adapt to different classroom environments.
• A DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply).
• Great communication and teamwork skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons, ensuring students stay on task and understand the content being taught.
• Work with small groups or individual students who require additional support, focusing on boosting their learning outcomes through targeted interventions.
• Work closely with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), adapting learning materials and activities to meet their specific needs and ensure their inclusion in classroom activities.
• Help to create a calm, supportive, and inclusive learning environment, managing classroom behaviour and reinforcing positive conduct.
• Collaborate with teachers in preparing resources, setting up activities, and contributing ideas to support lesson planning and the overall learning experience.
