We are excited to welcome a Barista Catering Assistant to join our brand new onshore contract team in Aberdeen. You will work 24.75 hours per week, following a rotating shift pattern to ensure our customers receive top-notch service throughout their visit.

Shift Pattern is as follows:

  • Week 1 – Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 6:30am to 3:15pm with flexibility
  • Week 2 Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 7am to 3:45pm with flexibility
  • Week 3 Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 7am to 3:45pm & Friday 7am to 11am with flexibility
  • Noting, additional hours worked on the Friday in week three will be paid in addition to the contracted hours of 24.75

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide friendly and professional service to customers, exceeding their expectations whenever possible.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in food and beverage areas, including the kitchen, dining room, and coffee shop.
  • Assist with food preparation, service, handling, and storage as directed by your Line Manager.
  • Make hot and cold Barista style drinks as requested and ordered
  • Actively seek and pass on customer feedback to improve service quality.
  • Upsell products and demonstrate excellent knowledge of offerings to customers.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance work activities and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
  • Complete required paperwork accurately and promptly, including Food Safety and Health & Safety documentation.
  • Support stocktaking procedures to minimize waste and ensure efficient inventory management.
  • Assist with loading and unloading supply vehicles as needed.
  • Flexibility to work in other units within a reasonable distance when required.

  • Shares knowledge and experiences with team members to foster a collaborative environment.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Basic Food Hygiene/level 2 certification is desirable but not essential.
