Salary: £70 – £100 per day
Contract: Full-Time/Part-Time (Flexible)

A Wolverhampton primary school, part of an established MAT, is seeking an enthusiastic and committed KS2 Teaching Assistant to join our team. This flexible role can be either full-time or part-time, depending on your preference.

About the Role: As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support the learning and wellbeing of pupils in Key Stage 2. Your role will involve helping to deliver engaging lessons, providing tailored support to individual children or small groups, and ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment. This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the educational journey of our pupils and become an integral part of a collaborative school community.

Key Responsibilities:
Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils, ensuring that all learners are making progress.
Help to create and maintain a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment.
Assist with the preparation of teaching resources and activities.
Monitor and support pupils’ social and emotional development, encouraging positive behaviour and attitudes to learning.
Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and external agencies to meet the individual needs of pupils, including those with special educational needs.
Support children during playtimes and lunchtime, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
Contribute to the overall ethos and life of the school, participating in school events and activities.
Ensure that safeguarding procedures are followed at all times.We are looking for someone who:
Has experience working with children in a primary school setting, ideally in Key Stage 2.
Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
Is patient, enthusiastic, and committed to supporting children’s learning and development.
Has strong communication skills and can build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
Is a proactive team player, willing to share ideas and contribute to the school’s success.
Has a flexible and adaptable approach, with excellent organisational skills.
