Field Sales Lead Generators (Temp to Perm)
Brighton Area, East Sussex
Covering Brighton, Lancing, Worthing and Seaford.
We are looking for 2 x sales driven individuals with exceptional communication skills and a sales background to fulfil a business development role in the Brighton and surrounding areas.
The principal purpose of this role is to get sales leads (name, email, phone number) for our clients dedicated sales team to convert into customers; we do this on either the doorstep, at train stations and other private sites, and events. You will positively promote our client and their services using a range of techniques, to deliver the leads required for the companies sales team to convert the leads into sales.
Our friendly and professional in-house community engagers will have excellent interpersonal skills, a strong background in sales, tenacity and the ability to provide good quality information on a range of services.
Ultimately, a high-quality community engager is someone who can relate to and connect with people face-to-face and promote the company’s services without coming across as aggressive or pushy.
Requirements:
· Sales experience preferable.
· Excellent interpersonal skills.
· Ability to sell and influence.
· Ability to work after-hours and on weekends.
· Ability to travel extensively to local areas/own transport is required.
· Ability to work outdoors in all weathers.
· Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
· Full driving licence.
Responsibilities:
Good product knowledge (Full Training Provided)
Travel to specific canvassing locations (within an approx. 40-mile radius);
Approaching and talking to people in shopping centres, on the street, and at their homes about the company;
Obtaining personal contact information;
Making cold calls from the office;
Answering questions about the company and service;
Maintaining a professional appearance and behaviour;
Meeting targets;
Letter/leaflet dropping (door to door);
Attending events, often at weekends;
Careful and accurate recording of personal details;
Adhering to data protection regulations;
Produce accurate time sheets;
Recruiting and training new engagers. Measures of Success
Sales leads
Leads per hour
Lead quality and completeness (accurate and full sales lead information)
Doors knocked per hour / per day
Number of meaningful conversations
Positive feedback / no complaints. 5 Days per week – Monday through till Friday + working 1 Saturday in 3 with an early finish of 4.30pm – they will rotate the weekend shifts through the team to make it fair.
Standard Hours 9am till 6pm
£11.44 per hour plus travel expenses and commission.
Working 40 hours per week.
