Teaching Personnel are looking for a compassionate and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to join the excellent team of support staff within a Bury based Secondary school.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide specialist support to students identified as requiring additional support in the classroom. You will lead 1:1 interventions which target personal and academic development, as well as working closely with the student throughout the school day to ensure that they are integrated in the classroom and supported in social interactions. You will have good knowledge of SEND, SEMH and effective support strategies to ensure that the student receives the highest quality provision.

Key information:

£1670 – £1800 per month, dependent on relevant experience and qualifications.
Paid weekly, every Friday via PAYE
Access to free online CPD training.
You must have a passion for supporting students aged 11-16 with SEN and removing barriers to learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
