Concierge – Private Building, London Fields
Salary: £26,000 per annum (Gross)
Hours: 8am – 4pm, with 60-minute unpaid lunch break (split into three breaks: 15-min tea, 30-min lunch, 15-min tea).

About the Role:
On behalf of our client, we are hiring a proactive and customer-focused Concierge for a private building in London Fields. This is a self-managed position requiring excellent customer service and security skills. The role involves managing the front desk, ensuring building security, and assisting with daily operations to maintain a smooth and safe living environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service & Reception:

  • Greet residents, guests, and visitors, providing assistance and answering queries.
  • Handle complaints professionally and ensure a high level of service.
  • Assist with luggage, parcels, and deliveries as needed.
  • Manage visitor access, issue keys/fobs, and maintain accurate records.

Security & Site Management:

  • Monitor building security, conduct regular patrols, and check CCTV.
  • Address safety hazards or security breaches and report incidents.
  • Oversee storage spaces, cleanliness, and organise rubbish collection.
  • Ensure adherence to health & safety standards, and manage emergencies.

Team Collaboration & Reporting:

  • Liaise with team members and conduct shift handovers.
  • Communicate important updates to the team and suggest improvements.
  • Assist with managing temporary staff cover and liaise with the managing agent.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Proactive, with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Previous experience in concierge or building management is preferred.
