Job title: Picker / Packer
Contract: Temporary (12-week contract from mid-November 2024 until mid-January 2025) – Working 6 days per week
Hours: Monday to Friday (2pm – 10pm) and Saturday or Sunday (8am – 5pm)
Rate: £11.44ph
Location: Hillington Industrial Estate
Duties:
- Pack picked items securely into boxes, ensuring proper protection for items to avoid damage during shipping.
- Label boxes with appropriate shipping and tracking information.
- Ensure that packed orders meet quality standards and customer specifications.
- Prepare packed items for shipping by sealing, labelling, and organizing shipments according to specified methods (e.g., courier, freight).
- Operate packaging equipment such as tape guns, bubble wrap machines, or shrink wrap systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Happy to work on a temporary contract
- Able to work 6 days per week
- Able to commute to Hillington Industrial Estate for the specified hours
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
