Carbon60 are looking for a number Trainee Coil Operatives known as a Coil Operatives to join a large Engineering company based in Greenford. This position is on a Temp to Perm basis.
This Coil Operative position is working for our client that offer engineering components and services to their clients. They also pride themselves in providing a maintenance service for gearboxes, pumps, motors, and other rotating equipment.
This position will be working in their coil manufacturing facility. Full training is provided on this position.
Skills Required:
Commitment to working to high quality procedures and standards
Ability to work effectively within a team
Experience with basic hand and power tools
Experience of working in an engineering environment
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to follow instructions accuratelyJob Duties:
Dismantling electric motors using hand tools.
Taking all windings out using chisel/hammer operation.
Using abrasives to clean out the parts (includes use of angle grinders)
Using chemicals to wash motor casing and steam cleaning.
Using short blaster to clean all motor parts.
Using crane operations for all activities
Training provided.Working Hours are Monday – Friday
