Lab Assistant
– Start Date: ASAP – 23 December 2024
– Pay: 12.49 per hour
– Location: G12 8QQ (fully office-based)
– Hours: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities:
– Clean, sterilise, and manage laboratory glassware, plasticware, and materials
– Collect and record lab coats for laundering
– Repair glassware, sterilise waste, and manage waste disposal
– Operate washing machines, autoclaves, and ovens
– Maintain records for recharging and assist with general washroom housekeeping
Essential Skills:
– Basic knowledge of Health and Safety protocols
– Good communication skills and attention to detail
– Ability to follow instructions accurately and manage tasks efficiently
