SEN Teaching Assistant
Are you an experience Level 3 SEN Teaching assistant looking for a new opportunity?
Tradewind are looking for an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly team of over 15 TA’s to work with a mixed SEN School within Lancaster providing support for 5-16-year-old.
The role is to start as soon as possible, potentially until July 2025. Additionally, they are looking to offer a temporary to permanent contract for the right person. The pay will be from £90-£117.89 per day, depending on experience.
This large ‘Good’ SEN School prides themselves on their outstanding facilities such as multi-sensory room, therapy room, outdoor area offering an outdoor classroom and lots more. They have a fantastic team and dedication to supporting their pupils.
They are looking for an experienced Level 3 SEN teaching assistant to support pupils with a range of SEN needs particularly with Autism. The role will include supporting pupils on a 121 as well as small groups.
The school is based in Lancaster lots of free parking at the school and excellent public transport links.
Essentials:
* Level 3 qualification (NVQ or equivalent) in Supporting Teaching and Learning
* Previous experience working with autism.
* This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
* Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained.
* You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
