Graduate Town Planner – Cardiff
Salary: £24,000 – £28,000, depending on experience
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Town Planner to join a leading urban planning consultancy based in Cardiff. The company is looking for a motivated and ambitious individual to support their team in delivering planning services for a variety of high-profile development projects. This role offers the flexibility of working at their Cardiff office or Bristol office space.
Key Responsibilities:
– Assist in the preparation and submission of planning applications
– Provide planning advice on urban development projects
– Conduct research and analysis of local planning policies and regulations
– Collaborate with senior planners and external stakeholders
– Support the management of projects through the planning process
Graduate Town Planner Requirements:
– RTPI-accredited degree in Town Planning or related field
– Some professional experience in private consultancy
– Must have started the APC and be actively pursuing chartership
– A strong understanding of planning law and policy
– Excellent communication and report-writing skills
– A proactive and collaborative approach to work
– An interest in urban development and shaping communities
