Tradewind Recruitment is looking for an English Graduate to work in Secondary schools within Tonbridge & the surrounding areas as a Cover Supervisor. You will be responsible for ensuring all work set by the regular class teacher is delivered, classroom behaviour is effectively managed, and students continue to progress in their learning.
For those looking into a rewarding career in education, the role of a Cover Supervisor is an exciting opportunity to build your experience in classroom settings, affording both flexibility on an ad-hoc basis and set timetables on longer term positions, as well as offering the opportunity to build a portfolio of experience to supplement routes into teaching.
Salary ranges from £90 to £100 per day and we have schools looking for Cover Supervisors immediately.
To be considered for this role, applicants should have:
The passion and drive for supporting pupils within Secondary education. For applicants with the relevant life or educational background but no formal school-based experience, Tradewind runs a bespoke, in-person TA School to prepare you for the life of a Cover Supervisor
Hold a degree-level qualification in an English related subject
Strong communication skills
Demonstrable patience and reasoning skills
A positive, engaging, and proactive approach
Have or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service. Tradewind can put a DBS in place for you, which we will refund in full following a period of 20 days worked in our placements
