Our client, a leading MSP in the IT sector is seeking a 1st Line Support Engineer to join them on a full-time, permanent basis.

Due to growth our client is looking to add a 1st Line Support Engineer to their team, providing a high level of technical support to their broad range of clients.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar IT Support role, providing 1st Line support with the opportunity to progress to 2nd Line in the future.

This role is offer on a hybrid basis, working 2 days in the office and 3 from home.

Key Responsibilities:

– Being the go-to for clients for any technical queries

– Writing and updating user documentation

– Prioritize and escalate tickets to ensure SLAs are met in a timely manner

– Provide a high level of customer service and communication to clients at all times

– Work with a high degree of accuracy in a fast-paced environment

– Ensure communication with the client is maintained at all times

Experience:

– Understanding of MS 365 Admin

– Basic networking skills including TCP/IP and DNS

– Understanding of SharePoint and Microsoft Servers

– Basic Server administration

– Familiarity with Anti-Virus and Backup Software
