Customer Services Officer – Part time – 9am – 15:30

Hays are recruiting for a Customer Services Officer on a part-time basis for a reputable organisation in Telford. This is a varied an exciting role with an immediate start. Due to ongoing growth this role has the possibility of becoming permanent.
Your new role
As a Customer Services Officer your role will include:

  • Act as the ‘first point of contact’ for visitors.
  • Assist with public enquiries and requests for information, signposting to other services as necessary/appropriate.
  • Managing Room bookings.
  • Maintain the bookings diary, both electronically and manually.
  • Raise invoices relating to room bookings promptly and accurately.
  • Photocopying.
  • Maintain appropriate stock levels of stationery, cleaning materials and equipment, managing restocking through purchase orders where required, checking-in deliveries and organising for the settling of invoices.
  • Provide support for events and activities.
  • Maintain the social media presence for the organisation.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Good communicator.
  • Able to work on own initiative.
  • Willingness and ability to work as part of a team.
  • IT Literate – have experience of working with Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to maintain a presence on key social media platforms.
  • Ability to update and maintain websites.
