I am exclusively working with a client in Chelmsford, who are looking for a Payroll and Accounts Assistant on a permanent full-time basis.
The role
This role is a mixture of payment & receipts tasks and bank reconciliations to complete monthly. But also completing the payroll for clients within the team.
Duties will include:
Purchase ledger invoice processing
Bank Reconciliations for payroll
Bacs payment files
Posting and admin for client payroll records
Client instructions and payroll runs
Payroll submissions
Processing pensions
Dealing with HMRC and queriesTo be considered for the role you must have:
Experience of working in a payroll is essential
Knowledge of payroll systems is a must
Excellent communication skills
High level of attention to detail to crucial
Self-motivated and able to work alone but also suitable to working as a team player
Ability to prioritise workload effectively
Understand the importance of confidentiality
IT literate including basic MS Office skills
