Job Advertisement: Paint Shop Labourer
Location: Gateshead, UK
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Paint Shop Labourer to join our team in Gateshead. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a physical and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Loading and Unloading: Safely loading and unloading wagons with materials and finished products.
* Work Preparation: Prepping items for painting, including degreasing and sanding.
* Wrapping Products: Wrapping and packing finished items for safe delivery.
* Housekeeping: Ensuring the workspace remains clean and organized at all times.
Working Hours:
* Standard Hours:
* Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
* Friday: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM
* Overtime:
* Available on Saturdays and after standard hours (1-hour increments).
* Paid at time and a half.
What We’re Looking For:
* A proactive and physically fit individual who can handle manual tasks.
* Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Ability to work well in a team and maintain a tidy workspace.
* Previous experience in a similar environment is beneficial but not essential.
* Due to location and start time Own transport would be beneficial.
