Job Title:Learning Support Assistant
Location:Manchester
Pay Rate:£95 per day
A school in Manchester is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to work with students. This role involves supporting students with a range of learning needs, ensuring they are engaged and supported throughout their lessons. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and a commitment to helping students achieve their potential.
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with special educational needs (SEND) or learning difficulties
- Assist in adapting teaching materials and lesson plans to ensure accessibility for all students
- Support students in managing their behaviour and promote a positive, inclusive learning environment
- Work closely with the class teacher and SEND team to track student progress and address any learning barriers
- Encourage students to develop independent learning skills, boosting their confidence and self-esteem
Requirements:
- Experience supporting students with SEND or in an educational setting is desirable
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, students, and other support staff
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate students with varying learning needs
- A commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive
