Role Overview:
We are recruiting a full-time Conveyancing Assistant to support our busy residential property team in our client’s Exeter office. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth, efficient property transactions and providing exceptional administrative support to our fee earners.
Conveyancing Assistant Responsibilities:
* Provide comprehensive administrative support to the conveyancing team
* Open, manage, and archive client files with meticulous attention to detail
* Utilise firm’s IT systems and software packages effectively
* Proofread legal documentation
* Handle client communications via email and telephone
* Submit Land Registry applications
* Conduct property searches
* Assist with pre and post-completion property transaction work
* Manage client and third-party enquiries
* Support lawyers with various administrative tasks
Conveyancing Assistant Requirements:
* Previous experience in a property or legal support role (desirable)
* Understanding of conveyancing processes (desirable)
* Excellent organisational abilities
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Adaptable with a ‘can-do’ attitude
* Proficient in IT and computer systems
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Excellent communication skills
