About the Role
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales or business development, ideally within the energy sector. The role requires an individual who is self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven, capable of working independently to drive new business.
Key responsibilities include:
Building and maintaining relationships with businesses spending between £300k and £2m annually on energy.
Identifying energy-saving opportunities and offering tailored energy solutions to optimise client spend.
Managing and expanding the client portfolio, while achieving revenue targets.
Keeping up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless delivery of services to clients.About the Candidate
The ideal candidate will have:
A proven track record in sales or business development, preferably within energy procurement or a similar field.
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
An ability to work independently, self-manage, and manage their own diary effectively.
Excellent organisational and results-driven mindset, capable of managing multiple priorities.
A proactive approach to identifying new business opportunities and maintaining long-term client relationships.
The ability to collaborate with colleagues and support the development of junior team members.Points of Appeal
