TeacherActive are looking for Teaching Assistant’s / TAs to provide cover across Primary and secondary schools within Maidstone and the surrounding area. We are looking for Teaching Assistants to work in both short-term and long-term positions.
This is a great opportunity for either current Teaching Assistants or for individuals looking to gain more formal classroom experience. As a Teaching Assistant you will support students on both a one-to-one basis and in group settings at the direction of the class teacher. We can support in finding long term Teaching Assistant work but also have short term and flexible options available.
The Ideal Teaching Assistant / TA should:
Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 the in relevant Teaching Assistant / TA qualification – desirable but not essential
Have experience working with children either in a school setting or in a coaching capacity.
Preferably have experience working with special educational need requirements.
Have up-to-date knowledge of children’s safeguarding guidelines.
