About the role:

SEN TA: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an SEN Teaching Assistant with a specialism in Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs to join a welcoming primary school in Islington. In this part-time, ongoing role, you will provide essential support to children in Key Stage 1 and 2, helping them manage their emotions and succeed academically.

Application Requirements for an SEN TA:
• Experience supporting children with SEMH needs.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• A proactive, caring attitude and understanding of safeguarding.
Key Responsibilities: As an SEN TA you will:
• Support children with SEMH needs in 1:1 or small group settings.

• Work closely with teachers to create tailored interventions

.• Manage challenging behaviour and promote emotional development

.• Assist in developing individual learning plans in collaboration with the SENDCO.
