EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Permanent

LOCATION: Syston

SALARY: Up to £29,000 per annum dependent on experience

HOURS: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week Hybrid working: 2 days a week to work from home
3 days a week – Work in the office.

The candidate will be in the office full time until training has completed.

JR Personnel are an employment agency acting on behalf of a client who is looking for a Customer Service & Contract Advisor to join a growing and sociable team. The ideal candidate will have office experience and be driven by achieving team and individual targets.

As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be first port of call for new and existing customers enquiries into the business. Your primary responsibility will be to process applications for both new business and renewals, whilst upholding a high degree of product knowledge and industry awareness. Your day will be a combination of phone, online chat, and admin responsibilities. No cold calling.

The Opportunity:

To review contracts and provide advice to customers via e-mail & phone. To assist the sales team with queries. Extensive training will be given to ensure you are equipped with product knowledge and customers receive excellent service.

Role profile:

* Contacting existing customers regarding renewal applications

* Assist new and existing customers with queries via phone, email and online chat.

* Providing product information to new and existing customers

* Assisting customers with administrative changes such as cancellations and updating contact details

* Up-sell and cross-sell additional products

* Adhere to compliance requirements

* To maintain a high degree of product knowledge.

* No cold calling involved.

Essential Skills and experience

* Experience in delivering amazing customer service

* Experience with using CRM or equivalent system

* Experience in talking to people over the phone

* Have strong active listening skills

* Ability to use initiative to help our customers

* Enjoy working in a fast-paced tea.

* Are motivated to achieve positive results and reach targets

* Basic knowledge of Microsoft packages

Person profile:

* Previous experience in a customer service and administrative role

* Confident phone manner

* Excellent attention to detail.

* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

* A team player

* The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
