As a Cover Supervisor in this supportive and vibrant school, you will play a key role in ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of regular teachers, supporting students across all year groups. Key Responsibilities:
As a Cover Supervisor, your daily duties will include:
* Supervising and managing classes across all primary year groups in the absence of the class teacher.
* Delivering pre-set lesson plans and assisting students with their tasks and activities.
* Providing support to students with varying levels of ability, ensuring inclusive learning experiences.
* Ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment while maintaining high standards of behavior.
* Offering support to the teaching team with general classroom management and preparation of learning materials.
* Supporting students’ emotional and social development, helping them build confidence and resilience.
* Assisting with group activities and classroom projects, encouraging collaboration and teamwork.
* Providing feedback to the school leadership and teaching staff on student progress and behavior.
