An opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Support Worker to join Harbour, a residential home supporting adults with autism spectrum conditions, learning disabilities, and behaviours that may challenge. The home provides 24-hour care, including waking night support, with a focus on promoting independence and achieving positive outcomes through personalised, one-to-one support.
Responsibilities:
* Provide one-to-one support tailored to residents’ needs.
* Assist with daily living activities, encouraging independence.
* Support residents in managing behaviours that may challenge.
* Maintain a safe and supportive environment.
* Follow care plans and work collaboratively to achieve positive outcomes.
Requirements:
* Experience supporting adults with autism spectrum conditions or learning disabilities.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
* Commitment to promoting independence and person-centred care.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends
