DEBRA is recruiting for a friendly, approachable, Estate and Propery Administrator to join our friendly, supportive team at our Head Office in Bracknell, Berkshire with some home working optional.

You will join us on a Part Time, temporary 3 month FTC basis working 18 hours per week, earning a salary of £12,860 per annum.

About DEBRA

We are a national charity that supports individuals and families affected by Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) – a painful genetic skin blistering condition which, in the worst cases, can be fatal.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Estate and Safety Administrator to join our team. This role is integral in managing and overseeing the maintenance of our estate and the health and safety of our staff.

Estate Management

  • Maintenance – support with the planning and execution of reactive and preventive maintenance of the estate.
  • Contractor Management – liaise with contractors and service providers for repairs, and other estate-related services. Ensure work is completed to a high standard and within budget.
  • Estate management – Maintain an accurate inventory of our estate, and provide reports. Support with the management of lease events (breaks, renewals closure) and with the acquisitions of new sites.
  • Support on wider property related projects, including occasional travel to other locations around the country

Finance and Administration

  • Process invoices, assist in the preparation and monitoring of the budget. Track expenses and provide financial reports as needed.
  • Serve as a point of contact for estates and safety related inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, safety inspections, incident reports, and compliance documentation.

Education and experience

  • 5 GCSE’s including Maths and English
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an administrative role ideally within estates, facilities, health and safety or a related role.

Skills

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent time-management and multitasking abilities
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and estates and safety management software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
