The Role: Female Senior Support Worker

We are looking for a dedicated Female Settlement Support Worker to join our ONE TEAM Working approach, providing care and support to individuals living in their own apartments within our specialist services.

As a Settlement Support Worker, you will:

  • Provide personalised, therapeutic care to adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs.
  • Foster independence, enabling individuals to live fulfilling lives.
  • Help develop individualised care plans, working closely with other professionals.
  • Take responsibility for medication management, health appointments, and ensuring all care and safety standards are met.
  • Complete accurate reporting and recording on our in-house digital platform.

What Were Looking For:

  • Female applicants only (in accordance with Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010).
  • Experience as a support worker.
  • A passion for supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to guide and support others.
  • A caring, empathetic approach, with excellent communication skills.
  • The ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.

**The advertised salary is based on a full-time contract in which you are expected to work every other weekend. Home From Home Care has implemented a £1 per hour pay increase when working between 22:00pm Friday to 7:00am Monday**
