Travis Perkins, is offering a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated and customer-centric individual to join their team as a Level 4 Marketing Executive Apprentice. This is a unique chance to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, working alongside industry experts and contributing to the success of our marketing strategy.
In this role, youll work towards your Marketing Executive Level 4 Apprenticeship delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
Typical Daily Duties:
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications Manager and business stakeholders to develop engaging content that supports the communication strategy and drives results across all channels (website, social media, email, etc.).
- Partner with the wider team to create and implement impactful events for the Travis Perkins brand, both nationally and locally.
- Oversee the CRM data, meticulously tracking and reporting on campaign effectiveness to identify areas for improvement and optimize future campaigns.
- Work closely with external agencies, frameworks and cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and relevant execution of marketing and communication plans across all channels.
- Liaise with suppliers to develop and plan joint marketing initiatives that benefit both parties.
- Provide administrative and project support as needed, ensuring smooth operation and project completion.
- Manage the marketing budget and work with the Marketing and Communications Manager to ensure all activities stay within budget.
- Play a key role in maintaining the TPMS website, working collaboratively to ensure content is engaging and generates leads.
- Be the voice of the customer in all interactions, embodying the Travis Perkins brand with pride.
You will receive comprehensive training and support from your workplace mentor and the Baltic team.
Salary, Hours, and Benefits:
- £19,000 per annum
- 30 hour work week
- Working Monday-Friday
- 6 hour flexible working day
- This is a hybrid based role, with travel to their head office based in Duston, Northamptonshire twice per week

Desired Skills, Qualities, and Experience:
Essential:
- GCSEs in Maths and English
- Some travel will be required, so having a driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Basic creative skills
- A team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude
- Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
Preferred:
- A degree in Marketing or Business (or a related field)
- 2+ years of experience in a marketing role
- Experience with Customer Value Proposition development
- Event and marketing production experience
- Strong digital and web knowledge
- Social media experience
- Knowledge of marketing best practices across various channels
- Knowledge of the Housing or Construction industry (a plus)
