The Astronomer will be Cambscuisine’s 8th venue. It’s set within the Hyatt and Locke Hotel complex, in the exciting new development at Eddington on the north side of Cambridge (1.5 miles from the centre). The Astronomer will be an upmarket Bar and Brasserie. It will serve the hotels, locals from the Eddington community and custom from outside of the area. Think… focussed, highly seasonal menu; local and regional beer, cocktails and a wine list full of passion and independent growers; professional, knowledgeable service with a big smile; local and regional suppliers; a company that is highly passionate about it’s people and their development.
The Astronomer at Eddington will be our next exciting venture to kick off in late September 2023.
We are looking for a chef de partie to join our team of chefs to help us keep delivering outstanding homemade food using local and seasonal produce.
Cambscuisine is an award-winning, unique business with 8 gorgeous venues. We have 5 picturesque country Pubs in and around Cambridge and 3 stunning Restaurant venues in the heart of Cambridge city centre. We have grown steadily over the 23 years since the purchase of The Cock at Hemingford Grey in 2001 and are still thriving and growing today. We take great pride in everything we do, but especially in our people as they are at the forefront of what we do. Our Head chefs build their own menus with their amazing teams which give our sites their own unique character.
