We are seeking an experienced and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to work one-on-one with a non-verbal Autistic boy in Year 3. This role requires someone who can follow the school’s guidance precisely, ensuring consistency and structure for the child. This is a full-time, long-term position starting in January 2025.

Application Requirements:
We are looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant who:
• Has experience working with children with Autism, particularly in a primary school setting.
• Is dedicated, patient, and adaptable to the needs of the child.
• Is hands-on, proactive, and ready to follow the school’s established strategies and protocols.
• Demonstrates a genuine passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning and thrive.
Key Responsibilities: SEN TA:
• Providing dedicated 1:1 support to meet the child’s educational, social, and emotional needs.
• Using creative and practical methods to engage the child in learning activities.
• Collaborating closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals to deliver tailored interventions
.• Supporting the development of communication strategies and encouraging positive interactions.
